2015 Update

0 min read
The Strawberry Fairy costume was not finished in time for the festival, but it was finished enough to wear and the little sister loved it! I've had some ideas on how to finish it with less work than I anticipated and still more detail, so when I can get the pieces back I'll work on that. The Honeycomb Fairy was not even finished enough to wear, although I had most of the pieces finished. The skirt, the wing parts, the shoe part of the boots, and the embroidered shell for the stays were all done, anyway. I still had to bind the stays, assemble the wings, and make the honeycomb part of the boots the morning of the festival, so I didn't really

Yearly Update

About due for another update, yes? One a year seems reasonable. We're in just about the same spot we were last year. Hubby got a promotion, I moved to a different, better area of the bank. Jayne is a year old and I swear the only thing that's changed is that he's bigger than he was when we got him. He's still a ball of energy and fluff. I don't have too many new projects. Between maintenance issues with our apartment and having a temporary roommate for half the year, sewing wasn't too high on the list. I'm still playing Minecraft with my dad on occasion, and Skyrim when I need a break from reality. Getting better and better at managing my

I did a very small amount of sewing for the festival this year. I got to turn my 11 year old cousin into Gandalf the Grey. Pictures of that soon. I also have another project lined up: Saki Morimi, pink dress, cosplay for my sister. Qualadifier has finally decided on a costume for the Renaissance festival, too, and I've got some great ideas on how to make it happen and how to make me match. But first... My sewing room is a disaster. It was upstairs and downstairs in various rooms and closets, but now I have it mostly downstairs in what should have been the dining room. Cube shelves for fabric storage, toy bin and jewelry store display for not

Hello Miss Anna how have you been lately? :)
I have been just peachy, Mr. Taylor. How have you been?
LOL A bit snuffy, but I'm doing good. Need to post more artwork on me site though. Too hot to do anything else, love. Anyway, I'm glad you're doing just peachy Mrs. Turner, and your handsome hubby too I hope. Watch out for Pirates! :)
Why'd I be watchin' out for 'em, when I'm one meself?

Actually, I've not seen the new Pirates of the Caribbean, and I don't plan on it. They've just gone too far, dragging real pirates into the mix. Not to mention the fact that they should have stopped at three, and that was even pushing it.

More artwork on your site? You have a site that isn't dA? Where is it, that I might stalk you there?
